Prof. Dr. Ramazan KORKMAZ
 

Ramazan Korkmaz was born in Ardahan in 1962. He studied Turcology at the university and made important studies in this field. KORKMAZ, who became a professor in 2001, was appointed as the "Founding Rector" to Ardahan University in 2008.

Founding the Caucasus Universities Association in 2009, KORKMAZ was awarded the "Rector of the Year" by the Europe Business Assembly (EBA) for his "Academic Diplomacy" studies in the Caucasus region (31 October 2012).

KORKMAZ, currently residing in Istanbul, is the President of the Caucasus Universities Association, with 172 universities from 15 countries.
