Dr. Hassan Rokni-Zadeh

Dr. Hassan Rokni-Zadeh is a graduate of genetics  and  is currently   the head of the Health Technology Development Center of Zanjan University of Medical Sciences. After completing his master's degree at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, he continued his studies in the field of genetics at the University of Leuven, Belgium, and after receiving his Ph.D., he began his profession as a faculty member at Zanjan University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Hassan Rokni-Zadeh completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Trieste in Italy. In 2016, he received the Arturo Falaschi Award from the ICGEB International Institute in Italy. His research is mainly in the field of NGS data analysis, study of disease genomics as well as genetics of microorganisms.
